Aged 18 months in French Oak Barrels, The nose is sharp leather punctuated by rich dark fruit beckoning you to sip. An intense gamey palette of berries, like blueberry, strawberry, along with dark tree fruit, was wrapped in a smoked leather satchel. The long finish is the best part. The entire wine can appear rather abrupt, but the complex body and finish leaves you with a slow goodbye. Enjoy!
