Kristy Budd’s love affair with wine began in college with a wine-tasting at a local restaurant. The knowledge she learned that night sparked her interest and would ultimately shape her life. A few years later, she found herself in Woodinville, WA for work during a big wine event. She learned much about the behind the scenes process and was officially on her way to become a wine connoisseur.

Years later when Casey ordered red wine on their first date, Kristy knew he was the right man for her. Married in 2017, the Budds have explored wineries around the world. Many of their important life events have been centered around wine.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, the Budds spent the year discussing their future. Owning their own business had been a life goal, so they put their dream in motion. They quickly knew a wine-related business would be ideal and researched options. Opening a wine distribution company checked all their boxes and was a great fit for the couple.

In 2021, they established Elevated Wine & Spirits and began making connections and buying wines and spirits for the business.

The heart of Elevated Wine & Spirits is about redefining what it means to be wine aficionado. The Budds value themselves on being everyday people who just happen to love wine and want to share it with their customers. They only work with brands they respect and appreciate.
